My wife and son declared me dead while I was away and sold our property. My name is now marked as “Late” in the mutation records. My brother, who is also my co-heir, seems to be part of this scheme. How can I get the sale deeds cancelled, my name corrected in the records, and reclaim my rightful share of the property?

You can file a suit for declaration of your existence and cancellation of the sale deeds. You need to prove you were alive when the sale was done, and your wife and brother conspired to defraud you. The court can order correction of records and restoration of your share of the property.
