My husband worked in the UAE in 2006, and his employer took out a credit card in his name. He was assured that he’d pay it off on time. He came back to India for our wedding in 2007, on a month-long leave. While he was here, his employer called to say his job was lost due to the recession. But years later, they’re harassing me with calls at my office, using abusive language.

You should carefully review the visa refusal letter and the UK Home Office guidance on visitor visas. Consider seeking legal advice from an immigration lawyer specializing in UK visa applications. They can help you understand the reasons for the refusal, assess your options, and prepare a strong new application addressing the issues raised by the visa officer.
