My employer had misrepresented the role to me from the start, promising a managerial position that never materialized. The contract, while stating it was for three years, allowed them to dismiss me at any time with just a month’s notice and payment. Conversely, if I left, I would have to forfeit six months’ salary. There was no team, no support, and the company brought back the person I replaced after only five months. Now my career is in jeopardy. What legal options do I have to pursue justice?

You can proceed with the case in Bangalore court as the invoice was filed there. You can challenge the work order mentioning Chennai court by arguing that the contract was formed in Bangalore, where the services were provided and the invoice issued, making Bangalore the appropriate jurisdiction.
