As an Indian living abroad, I applied for a term loan with Max Life through PolicyBazaar.com in April 2016. The policy and medical checkup went smoothly, but I encountered problems uploading documents. I uploaded them multiple times, but still received automated messages asking me to do so again. Despite informing PolicyBazaar and Max Life consultants about the issue, I was assured that the policy would be issued quickly. While I received confirmation of policy issuance in May, I haven’t received the physical copy yet.

An insurance agent generally does not need to visit your home and take pictures of you for a car accident claim. This request seems unusual. You are within your rights to decline this request and ask for a clear explanation of why it’s necessary.
